Marlies Winter has unique experience in creating and implementing scientific communications strategies. She has spearheaded global communications planning for compounds at every stage of development, from preclinical and early clinical trials to postmarketing phases. Seasoned in all aspects of medical education, she has led highly successful programs in clinical areas including cardiovascular disease, rheumatology, diabetes, central nervous system disorders, and critical care medicine. In the process, she has overseen the development of abstracts, posters, original research manuscripts, reviews, journal supplements, interactive media, videos, and slides. Marlies also has special expertise in thought-leader engagement programs, including advisory boards and peer-to-peer educational events. She graduated cum laude in biology from Princeton University, holds a master's degree in biology from the University of New Mexico, and is the author of several publications in ethology and evolutionary biology.
